Smithsonian Institution
Vertran assisted in the development of design standards for all types of vertical transportation thoughout the country for the Smithsonian Institution. They maintain over 400 buildings and over 5.5 million square feet of museum space. Our focus was on standardizing equipment throughout all of the locations which sees over 30 million visitors per year to maximize life expectancy of equipment and improve overall efficiency of equipment.
