Cannon House Office Building – Washington, DC
Vertran was retained to prepare a comprehensive review and report of the vertical transportation for the Cannon House Office Building in Washington, DC. The Building was originally built in 1908 is comprised of six levels of occupiable space totaling approximately 800,000 gross square feet, and a five level underground parking garage located within and under the central courtyard totaling approximately 125,000 gross square feet.
The building is open to the public and provides office space for members of the U.S. House of Representatives and their staff, committee hearing rooms, and a carry-out restaurant.
